Well...I'm a happy person thanks to my fabulous husband, my family, my friends and all that God has blessed in my life. I love to laugh and to make others laugh...hysterically, possibly even until they wet their pants. I'm a fan of shopping, eating and reading. Unfortunately, I have the disgusting habit of picking/biting my cuticles (hence my love of Burt's Bees Cuticle Creme), and I have a tendency to be too trusting of others. I also have a hard time saying no to others, except in regards to my job. I'm an underwriter, so I get paid to say no every now and then. Russ and I enjoy boating in the summer and sitting on our butts in the winter. We have an amazing circle of friends, and basically, life is good :)

I'm Alive!!!

...and I have 5 followers now!! Woo-hoo! Am I loved or what?! So, let me explain why I haven't posted in almost a month:

My employer (Travelers Insurance) decided to block my blog. Those MEANIES!! Well, not really. They are a great company to work for, but I liked to post on my breaks/lunches, and now i can't do that anymore. GRRR! I mean, I sit at a computer all day long, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is sit down at another computer and blog. UGH. So, I'm sorry I've been MIA lately.

A lot has happened, though. My husband got laid off. Awesome. My sister had a seizure. Even better. Okay, so only 2 things, but those are some pretty big things!!

Luckily, Russ has a formal job offer coming soon, so that's resolved. My sis is 'better' hopefully. All tests came back neg, but that can be bad sometimes, too. Maybe if a test had shown something, the doctors could determine the root of the problem and fix it. Hopefully we won't have any more scares like that ever again.

Oh yeah, I also finished the Twilight saga. Ho Ly Cr Ap!! It was sooooooooooo good. I loved it so much, that I'm probably going to start reading it all over again really soon!! EEK!!

Oh well...gotta go for now. I've gotta pretty nice little Saturday planned: laundry, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, Bed Bath & Beyond (I don't know if we'll have enough time!!)
